I am an experimental cook. Most of the time, I just look in the fridge and cook based on what I see there and in my cupboards. I tell myself as long as I combine fresh ingredients, and I know exactly what I put in it, it’s got to come out good.
I am not a sophisticated cook, and I do not pretend to be a chef, but I am also not afraid to throw things together. I adore garlic, onions, tomatoes, and fresh herbs ( dill, parsley, bay leaves, oregano, basil, etc). So I always need to have these on hand and go from there. I think I can do very delicious stews and soups. But I am also highly influenced by East European cuisine, so I can prepare some specific dishes, such as: stuffed cabbage leaves, stuffed grape leaves, stuffed peppers, meatballs, steaks, and many other delicious dishes and desserts.
